Looking for an exciting way to get fit for season 2024 whilst getting paid? Look no further!

The MPFNL are hosting a women’s AFL 9’s competition during the 2024 pre-season which will be played in Seaford and Rye over the following evenings:

• Friday 1st March
• Friday 8th March
• Friday 15th March
• Friday 22nd March

AFL 9’s is a fast-paced variation of the game we know and love. It is played on a smaller ‘grid’ with, as the name suggests, 9 players per team. It is played over 2 x 20-minute halves with a sort 5-minute break in between.

This will be a great opportunity for not only players, but AFL South East Umpires to refine their skills and get some milage into the legs as the season quickly approaches.

Umpires will be paid $30 per game (with each umpire likely to do two games per evening) and there will be online training to cover all the rules.
