Umpire Operations Coordinator Appointment 

My name is Ryan Mann, and I will be your Umpire Operations Coordinator for the upcoming season. Registration 

 

RETURNING UMPIRES (Re-registration)

1. Log into your existing Officials HQ account via https://app.officialshq.com (UC – South East)
2. Required re-registration will pop up on dashboard – update/fill in information for each section (General, Working with Children, Banking Details, Medical etc).
3. Choose your role preference (multiple roles can be selected – field umpire, boundary umpire, goal umpire, etc).
4. Complete re-registration and agree to the Terms & Conditions
5. Registration complete!

 

NEW UMPIRES (Registration)

New Umpire registration through Officials HQ consists of two parts:

1. Head to https://registration.officialshq.com/ complete Steps 1-4 (UC – South East/SUA)
2. You will receive an email from Officials HQ to verify your details (check your Junk box). This is an important step in the registration process as this verification link will expire after 72 hours.
3. If you miss the 72 hour window – don’t panic! Go through to the login page and select “Forgot Password”. This will re-trigger the confirmation of your details email and allow you to complete the verification.
4. Registration complete!

 

Compulsory Umpire Education Modules

The completion of the educational module will be a mandatory requirement for all umpires and umpire coaches participating in the 2024 Season. The educational module will need to be completed prior to April 30, 2024.

 

Any umpire or umpire coach who has not completed the required education module by April 30, 2024 will not be available for appointments until the education module is completed.

 

A ‘how-to’ has been distributed via email and will shortly be uploaded on here.

 

Uniforms – watch this space 

We have some exciting news surrounding the 2024 uniform which will be released prior to the start of the 2024 season. Keep an eye out for that information!

The Umpire Club Hub will again be the main platform for news and key announcements as well as match day and report paperwork.

Women and Girls’ Umpire Liaison Appointment

Sophie Mastaing has been appointed to the role of Women and Girls Umpire Liaison. As well as umpiring knowledge, Sophie brings great awareness to the Women and Girls space and will be a fantastic resource for our umpires in season 2024. Training 

Training is well underway with junior training bases operating on Monday evenings from 6PM (except Dallas Brooks Reserve, Mornington with details still TBC). Senior training is occurring every Monday and Wednesday until round 1 of the senior season which will see training reduced to Wednesday evenings only.

 

Please refer to our training base flyer above to determine the most suitable training venue to attend.
