A couple of key bits of information for you going into the festive period.<\/p>\n

Please note the AFL South East Office is closed from December 22, 2023 until January 15, 2024.<\/p>\n
Umpire Operations Coordinator \u2013 Staff Announcement<\/strong> He is currently on the Development List of the State League Umpires as a Field Umpire after umpiring in the SMJFL & SFNL.<\/p>\n Ryan\u2019s employment has been with Bunnings Warehouse & Clayton Bowls club, along with internships at the Whitehorse City Council & SMJFL and a role with AFL Victoria as an Umpire Development Officer. Ryan can be contacted for all umpiring matters from January 15, 2024 at ryan.mann@aflse.com.au<\/a> & 0402 422 168<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n RETURN TO TRAINING \u2013 2024 Juniors (FDJ, SEJ & MPJ Regional Competitions) Key Coach Contacts MPFNL Senior Field \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Russell Davidson – Russell.Davidson@Haileybury.com.au<\/a> COMPULSORY UMPIRE EDUCATION MODULES (USER GUIDE ATTACHED)<\/em><\/p>\n The completion of the educational module will be a mandatory requirement for all umpires and umpire coaches participating in the 2024 Season, the educational module will need to be completed prior to April 30, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Any umpire or umpire coach who has not completed the required education module by April 30, 2024 will not be available<\/strong> for appointments until the education module is completed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Attached is a User Guide for all Umpires to assist in their completion of the modules.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>We would like to announce to the AFL South East community, the appointment of Ryan Mann, who will begin the role of Umpire Operations Coordinator on Monday January 15th, 2024.<\/strong>
\nRyan joins AFL South East after graduating from Deakin University with a degree in Business & Sports Management.<\/p>\n
\nHe is passionate to begin his career in Umpire Operations and is enthusiastic about what the AFL South East Umpiring group can achieve.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Seniors (MPFNL Men\u2019s & Women\u2019s) <\/em>
\n<\/strong>Monday 5 February 2024. 6pm.
\nTraining will be every Monday and Wednesday until 27 March (except Monday 11 March)
\nAll training will take place at SUA HQ \u2013 Kannanook Reserve, Seaford.
\nTraining reverts to one night per week from Wednesday 3 April.<\/p>\n
\n<\/em>Information will be distributed upon return to office with AFL South East confirming with Junior coaches timing & locations across the South East, Frankston & Mornington areas.
\nThis will be sent through necessary channels and all are welcome to attend Senior Training if you wish to get started in early February.<\/p>\n
\n<\/em>With practice matches getting underway in March 2023 before the Season commencing on Easter Weekend for Seniors & late April for Juniors, please get in contact with your Coaches for availability & any training information.<\/p>\n
