AFL South East Umpiring Department \u2013 Mid Season Survey (HIGH IMPORTANCE): <\/strong><\/p>\n

We are asking all registered umpires to please take a couple of minutes to complete this survey, so that we can review how the Department is functioning and your feedback is vitally important.<\/p>\n

AFL South East MND Round: <\/strong><\/p>\n

AFL South East have our community themed Fight MND Round this weekend, with many clubs joining the fight and having numerous events and activities to support and fundraise against \u201cThe Beast\u201d that is MND.<\/p>\n

As our Umpires have done across all themed rounds, we ask for their support with clubs in working with them for any events they have organised.<\/p>\n

AFL South East encourage all umpires to be involved and grab a beanie for the weekend.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Southern Umpires Association \u2013 Mental Health Awareness Night (28th<\/sup> June): <\/strong><\/p>\n

Following Training on Wednesday 28th<\/sup> June, Dr Peter King from Essentia Health will be attendance for a session to assist Umpires, with the SUA also having a Traditional Pie Night (which is free for all registered members).<\/p>\n

AFL South East support the Southern Umpires Association and encourage all Umpires to head to www.sua.org.au<\/a> to get involved.<\/p>\n

The Southern Umpires Association have a busy upcoming social calendar including;<\/p>\n

Saturday July 15 \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Trivia Night<\/p>\n

Monday July 17 \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Junior Umpires Bowling Night @ Cranbourne.<\/p>\n

Saturday August 12 \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>SUA Reverse Draw.<\/p>\n

Junior Interleague \u2013 Kings Birthday Weekend: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Congratulations to all Umpires on their appointments to Junior Interleague over the long weekend, AFL South East were represented with professionalism and a great standard of officiating.<\/p>\n

Availability to Coaches \u2013 June & July:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following Junior Interleague last weekend, across the AFL South East competitions we have the following which is different to the traditional weekends of full rounds of football;<\/p>\n

Saturday June 17 \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Split Round for MPFNL Division 1 (reduced matches)<\/em><\/p>\n

Sunday July 2 – <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0No Juniors Football (Some Interleague Fixtures)<\/em><\/p>\n

Saturday July 8 \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>MPFNL Division 1 & SEWF Premier Division Bye. <\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

On-Field Uniforms \u2013 Project Clothing. <\/strong><\/p>\n

AFL South East have put in an additional order to Project Clothing for Small, Medium & Large Shirts which should be in stock on the Project Clothing online store in coming days.<\/p>\n

We will be in contact when these have arrived so that all our Umpires can be appropriately kitted out or get an additional shirt for the 2023 Finals Series.<\/p>\n

As a result it is vitally important to be in contact with your coaches regarding your availability & have OfficialsHQ updated.<\/p>\n
