With increment weather forecasted for late on Sunday afternoon, please be aware of the following:

 

 

If thunder/lightning becomes apparent, play should be immediately stopped all officials should return to changerooms to protect the health of players, officials and umpires. Play cannot resume within 30 minutes of the first sighting/sound of lightning/thunder. Play can only resume if the 30 minutes has elapsed and there is no obvious signs of lightning and thunder.

A decision to resume play in respect of a Match which has been delayed or suspended due to lightning will be made by the Controlling Body or Umpire(s) based on information obtained from the Bureau of Meteorology and in consultation with the relevant Clubs.

Common sense should be applied whilst liaising with officials particularly with grand finals being played.
